There is no shame in earning money honestly.

Commentary: Money earned honestly brings no disgrace, even if a vast amount of money is earned.

Money achieved dishonestly, whether via theft, fraud or deceit is shameful.

Inference: There may be shame in how money, regardless of the amount, is used. In my experience, rewarding indolence and dishonesty buys more of the same.
